Backstory
When we started Adapt, our mission was to: create functional drinks that support mental health. Everyday life can be stressful - distractions, pressure at work, 'always on' can impact mental health which in turn negatively effects productivity, sleep, energy levels and more. We were tired of short-term fixes, needing caffeine to wake up, alcohol to wind down, and feeling wired but exhausted all the time. We wanted something real. Something functional. And our personal experience of the profound effects of functional mushrooms, is what led us to using functional mushrooms, nootropics, and adaptogens to help people feel better, think clearer, and manage the everyday stress of modern life.
But while creating our drinks, something unexpected happened. We started testing dozens of variations of functional mushroom powders - Lion's Mane and Reishi, - to see which had the biggest impact.
Some of the highest-quality mushroom powders we tried were genuinely amazing, better than anything else we'd tried on the market. We began taking them every day ourselves. Not for research. Just because they worked. And that’s when we realised: it’s not just about the drinks. It’s about helping people adapt in whatever way fits their lifestyle - whether that’s on the move, at their desk, or in their morning smoothie.
So now, we’re launching our Adapt Mushroom Powder range.
High-quality, carefully sourced, pure mushroom extracts. No fillers, no fluff. Just the same potent ingredients we tested and used during product development - and never stopped using.
Why Powders?
Functional mushrooms like Lion’s Mane and Cordyceps are powerful natural tools. Many have been used for centuries in traditional medicine. But the way they’re made available today varies massively. A lot of what's on the market is poor quality - poor extraction methods, under-dosed, full of fillers, or just not effective.
We didn’t want to put out another “me too” product. But when we couldn’t find anything we truly trusted, we decided to make our own.
Our powders are:
- Dual-extracted to capture both water- and fat-soluble compounds
- Backed by science - they contain over 30% beta-glucan content, the critical component responsible for functional mushrooms health benefits - including research on cognitive performance, energy, and immunity
- Sourced with integrity - we've built partner relationships with amazing farms across Asia.
- Tested by us daily - in real life, and in the lab
Meet the Mushrooms
Lion’s Mane – Known for supporting focus, memory, and mental clarity. It's become our go-to nootropic when we need to get into deep work or stay sharp without the crash of caffeine.
Cordyceps – Traditionally used for stamina and performance, this is the one we reach for before workouts, long walks, or when we want a natural lift in energy.
Reishi – The calm one. Reishi supports stress resilience and balance. Great in the evenings, or just when things feel a bit too much.
Tremella – A bit of a hidden gem. Tremella is all about hydration and skin health, but we’ve found it great for general recovery and gut support too
More Than Just Powders
Launching these powders isn’t just about expanding our product line. It’s about continuing our mission.
People use Adapt to switch on, switch off, and adapt throughout the day. But drinks aren’t always the answer. Sometimes you want to add a scoop to your coffee. Or a smoothie. Or keep something in your cupboard that’s there when you need it. Powders are flexible. They're functional. They fit naturally into people’s lives. And they make it more cost effective for those who want to experience the benefits, daily.
For us, this feels like the next step in becoming the all-in-one brand for functional mushrooms and adaptogens.
We’re here to help people genuinely feel and function better - using natural, powerful tools that have stood the test of time.
If you’ve never tried functional mushrooms before, this is the perfect starting point. And if you're already into nootropics or adaptogens, we hope these earn a place in your daily routine.
Thanks for being part of the journey so far. We can’t wait to see how you adapt next.
